“ Good food with plenty of options [Roseville CA] It's been a minute since our last meal here and now they've changed the name, formerly Pete's Original Pizza Pasta. One of Roseville's oldest and best family restaurants... they've been here since we moved from the Bay Area in 2001. Took Mom here for lunch on Sunday and ordered from their Lunch Menu: Spaghetti Bolognese w/ House Salad and Fettuccine Alfredo w/ Minestrone Soup. Our meals came with a slice of garlic bread. Generous portions and we needed to go boxes. Decor hasn't changed much inside since our last visit. It is a little dark inside. There are flatscreen TV's placed strategically and I watched the Niners|Cardinals game while dining. Our server was quick and our food came fast. Hot and delicious! Not sure why we don't come here more often. The food is yummy with plenty of options. Well, we'll change that. It's conveniently close to home. Review #0012 updated ”
“ This place is my favorite pizza spot in Roseville and I have to eat it every time I'm in the area. We got seated within 5 minutes and got our orders in fast. The waitress was also attentive and gave us updates on the status of our food which was really nice. We got a large half Hawaiian and half Italian Garlic pizza and the Al's steak salad. Both were incredibly fresh and high quality and the pizza was not greasy at all! I could eat so many slices without it feeling too heavy and the toppings were so generous. The ambiance is dim and lively with many families enjoying quality time together. ”

“ I figured I would update my review, since the restaurant has a new name. I used to come here several times a month because I liked it so much, but I don't come as often, because I kind of got tired of the pizza. I decided to come back and try it since I haven't been since the name change. It was honestly the same. Same staff, same menu, maybe some minor decor changes on the inside, but for the most part it was the same. Even though I don't really eat the pizza anymore, there is still so much I like about this place. Their salads are really good, the sandwiches, pretty much everything on the menu Is really good, Even the pizza. I just used to eat it so much that there are other places that I would rather go for pizza now, but this is still a 5 star restaurant in my opinion. ”
“ Welcome to Original Al's. This is a great place for some great pizza but also some great Italian dishes. The Sicillian Meatball sandwich served on a French roll is absolutely delicious. The chicken Gorgonzola bow tie pasta with bacon and mushrooms served in a creamy sauce is perfection. And of course the pizza. My pepperoni pizza was very good cheesy with an amazing crust. The service is excellent giving you that family vibe of love and attention. It is located in a great area and the restaurant had a great decor with a fun atmosphere. Come in and enjoy. ”
“ What a spot! A friend / someone I do business with recommended this place. I think he's a regular and I see why haha. We were there today around lunch time and it was packed! It has such a comforting atmosphere inside and the waitress was so nice. I didn't catch her name though sadly. The owner stopped by the table and said hi too. Nice touch. With the smells and everything coming out of the kitchen looking so good, it was hard to pick what I wanted... I just happened to get the prime rib sandwich and it was the best I've ever had. Hands down. And while popping on Yelp to write this review, it seems like others feel the same way. 5/5 stars! ”
